Have you figured out yet that we had a really fun week yet!?!? We had been hoping to get to Seattle to see the gingerbread display but we could not make it work well on any given day. It was too rainy, we were too busy, or too cranky to go and have fun. So, instead we decided to make our gingerbread houses without seeing the huge display. (Which we had never really spoken about to the kids so there were no big tears.)
One house very orderly, with clean lines and minimal decor. The other decked out until there were no spaces left untouched. I wonder what this says about their personalities for the long run? (Ethan had told me, "Avery can use the extras from my house. She is a crazy crafty girl.")
