One of MY most favorite Christmas celebrations is at Snowflake Lane. We go each year and each year I feel so lucky to be there again. It is only about a ten minute span of lights, music, a drum line, dancing, and "snow!" For some reason this puts a smile in my heart. Oh, did I mention the candy cane lollipops?!?!
Last year Avery would not get on the ground for fear of the characters and would they might do. This year, she followed the mouse until he saw her and then she wanted a picture! Another sign of growing up, boohoo for me.
Dan was able to join us as well. What a great evening!
After Snowflake Lane the kids wanted to play in the play area for a bit. We had fun there too.
Well, some of us did.
Then, as if that was not enough, we found this display on our way home!Simply spectacular!!!
Avery wanted to get out for a photo opportunity. Why the heck not! This was the best photo but she had about five others taken in various spots around the yard.
