The Power of Mother Nature

If it's not one thing it's another. We endured the snow for 3 weeks and now we get to deal with severe flooding. When the snow melts it has to go somewhere and now the rivers are over their banks and spilling onto roadways, feilds, front yards, and homes and businesses. We are fortunate enough to live on a hill and our neighborhood isn't effected but there are many people who aren't as lucky. Many of the towns that surround Monroe are under water and trapped. Here are some pictures from The Seattle Times website that show what many people are dealing with. Snoqualmie Falls
Downtown Snohomish (town next to Monroe)
Pacific
Snoqualmie Valley. This is the area we live in.
