A Sweet, Sweet Visit

Here she is. A dear, dear friend who I have only spent a hand full of actual time in the same state with and yet have known for close to ten years. She is an inspiration and a genuine spirit. Thank you Tiff for coming up to visit our beautiful state.

We sat by the river while the kids played around us and learned how to make a necklace out of flowers. Simply being and finding joy in the peace.

We spent one day at the beach. The tide was high and it was raining...because why wouldn't it rain in June anyway!?!? Tiff is from CA and raves about the beautiful beaches they have...ours are a different kind of beauty. It was so cold we all headed to a local coffee shop and had a fabulous lunch and time to chat.

And along with cold weather, naps and being cozy this was dinner.

Sassy and Ethan played more Wii than I can imagine. He was impressed that a girl could play so well. I think I am giving him the wrong image of girls. I am not a huge fan of video games, but some ladies are. I'll work on that.
