Maybe it is just me, but I really have a hard time with this new catch phrase that is thrown around these days. By free ranging my kids I am simply letting them explore, make friends, not structure their every moment but simply let them play, let them be in their own space with their own thoughts and following their own heart more often than not. I at one point did have to ask what this term really meant, and as I suspected, it means just being a kid. Doing what kids do and not controlling their every move. Here are a few photos of my kids, just being kids, the way kids are supposed to be...at least in my house.

We don't have clotheslines here, not allowed in our neck of the woods, so we make do using trash cans, umbrellas and cars...brilliant!
