July 29, 2009. Literally this hottest day in Seattle, WA since 1889! My car was actually up to 113 degrees but I couldn't get the camera fast enough. These pictures are all taken in the evening. Yes, we played in the pool until 9pm! We started in the pool at 9am, played outside til about 3. Had a few minutes of down time then got in the car and went shopping at Target just to get out of the heat. (We forgot Avery's shoes since she was melting down while we were getting in the car, "mama, hot" she was crying.) We got home about 7:30, had dinner and played more outside. It is not like we were going to sleep any time soon.
Soooo HOT! This is what summer is about!

Melting down again...hot, tired...daddy tripped me....
