Since we were so close to the mountain and because we love the snow so much, it only made perfect sense for us to go play in it. The lifts weren't running yet so we were limited to sledding (which was totally fine with us). It was the first time Avery got to play in the snow and, just like her brother, she fell in love. As we took her down the hill, she squealed and laughed the whole way down. We couldn't be more pleased.

Ethan had a 102 temperature and he tried to make the best of the experience. After he was plowed over by a young girl on an inner tube, he called it quits and headed into lodge to spend some time with Grandma.
